Determined to end the cycle of companion animal overpopulation and homelessness, The Soi Dog Foundation offers education programs to meet the needs of our community, as part of our mission to promote the welfare of animals through leadership, education, and action.

Our education program encourages the value of all living things, not only dogs but all living sentient beings. In addition to offering classroom presentations at our education centre and shelter tours we will be visiting schools on the island of Phuket and the surrounding areas at the invitation of the local education authority.

Our age-appropriate, multi-media presentations and our discussion forum prepares students to be excellent animal guardians. Presentations are also geared to discuss particular problems faced by animals in their immediate community and ways to prevent further population expansion also general animal care and attention.

We empower the children to make smart decisions around animals, while teaching respectful and humane attitudes within the various cultural nuances of Thailand.
