They may take a few days to get used to a collar and lead. They may be wary of yet another change in their life, but we are confident that they will turn into loving and loyal pets, who will always be grateful that you have given them another chance to have a happy and cared for life. Prospective adopters should realize however that it is an expensive and depending on the country time consuming exercise. North America is fairly straightforward, the adopter being responsible solely for paying for the IATA approved air kennel and flight. Cost depends purely on the size of dog. Allow between 30,000 and 40,000 THB to import a medium sized dog. Europe takes a minimum of 4 months to fulfill the requirements, and involves a blood sample being sent to Europe for testing. It is possible to send a dog to the UK virtually immediately but the dog will have to spend 6 months in a quarantine kennel chosen by the adopter.
